This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project to date, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities building props and sets for the series
In the timeless town of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family navigate between love, oblivion, and the inescapability of their past and their destiny. Fascinating.
A visual marvel and a philosophical masterpiece
Pure magic. So light and easy to watch, yet so profound.
Not to mention how beautiful the cast is
An adaptation that definitely does justice to the source material. I wish I could speak Spanish because I’m sure it’s much better in the original language, but it’s quite fascinating in English.
Beautiful cinematography, enigmatic and interesting plot, amazingly written characters, a love letter to Gabriel!
Simply amazing. It’s a near-perfect translation of Gabriel García Márquez’s Magnum Opus: One Hundred Years of Solitude.
It made me reread the book after decades

In the world of Intelligence, in the search for truth, it is difficult to tell the difference between reality and a reflection of it, an illusion, so to speak, as if one were in a “Hall of Mirrors”. I am also a huge Fassbender fan, so take that into consideration

Let me start by saying that I have not seen the original French series that this is based on.
I simply disagree
I have seen others criticize the writing. It can be very mysterious and a little vague at times, but it all builds and has kept me very intrigued and interested. I thought the other lead actors were very solid in their roles so far. Fassbender is great, but a little subdued.
Also, actress Jodie Turner
Although that will obviously change based on future viewings. Smith is new to me, but I’m loving her so far. You can feel things really bubbling under the surface, so I’m looking forward to the next few episodes.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered is a remaster of the first two games in Crystal Dynamics’ action-adventure series.

It all started with a simple robbery. When that thread was pulled, a tapestry of mysteries was revealed. Solve cases and foil criminals in a detective story full of lies, confessions, and maybe even a murder or two.

Hated the first episode

It was honed and predictable. It almost feels like they threw out the entire writing room and hired a new crew for episode 2.
Dialogue and overall production
Episode 1 had some major technical flaws in terms of the actual technology used. Episode 2 was so well done in terms of pacing. I understand some of the earlier low score reviews.. BUT if they continue to shoot in the over the top dialogue from episode 1 and move forward, drop the formula for smooth delivery. Which can be so hard to digest, this could be a truly exceptional production, especially with the talent that has been added to this production.
The writing and script is everything
Hopefully they can iron out the early wrinkles and this will be a Banger of a SHOW.
