Better writing, better characterization, good humor, and Keanu Reeves is a treat as Shadow. This movie is different from the first 2, most obviously the tone of the movie. a soulful adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and they handled it better than I ever thought they would. Shadow’s past is portrayed in haunting beauty, not to mention his immaculate CGI model, I was so impressed with his appearance, Jim Carrey was full of humor as usual, an absolute treat to have in our franchise, he was hilarious as Ivo & Gerald. Ben Schwartz, Colleen & Idris shone brighter than ever. As a huge Sonic fan this movie exceeded my expectations, what a feeling to be a Sonic fan! Easily one of the best pieces of Sonics history. 9/10.
